Lot #1 - Handcrafted Blue Stained Pine Wooden Bench, complimented with a Denali Running Horses Throw Blanket (60” X 68”).
This lovely bench was handcrafted by Tony Karniss, the President of the Lewis County Chapter.
It is made from blue stained Ponderosa Pine. Blue staining occurs when the tree is beetle killed, and is often sought after for artisan wood projects for its unique color. The bench back has a carved running horse design, which was created using a Cadmatic (CAD 3D machine). The CAD 3D design was completed by Lewis County Work Opportunities which helps disabled adults of Lewis County to be productive and participate in community activities. The bench is fully able to be disassembled for moving ease.
