The following is a way for you to check out a Bill if you are interested. In the address of your browser type (or follow this link) http://access.wa.gov and than hit go or your return key. When you get on the page, look for the index key on the left and click it. Pick State Subject Index and click it. On this page scroll down until you find --- Bill information - Legislature and click it (or follow this link: http://www.leg.wa.gov/wsladm/bills.htm) At this point you can make a choice as to whether you want to choose a Senate Bill or a House Bill. For this example, we are looking for the bill on NOVA Fuel Tax Funding Redistribution, HB 1698. Pick House Bill Information and click.Move down the column until you find the number you are looking for
(in this case 1675-1699) and click it. If you want the entire text of the bill you are looking for the bill number with the largest number of bytes and ending in .txt ( in this case 15525 1653_01312001.txt) Click on it and then read or print as you desire. You can follow these instructions to get to any bill you are interested in reviewingt. Pass this information on to your chapter Legislative person. Hope this helps.
