BCHW Legislative Day Agenda

GOALS:  Make BCHW members a resource for Legislators and staff when it comes to trails and related issues.  Let them know that we are available for information and that we “reside and ride” in their Legislative Districts, we are an active political organization, we are their neighbors and we are voters!

Cost $25 includes lunch & handouts

Dress:  Your best cowboy duds!

9:00 AM              Meet in the Columbia Room beneath the rotunda. Look for the cowboy hats!

10:00 – Noon          Meet with legislators if appointments are available.  (Many will be voting on the Floor of their respective houses, so you may need to meet with staff only to drop off information.)  We will be handing out colanders and a recap of the volunteer time we provide.

Noon – 2pm            Luncheon at “to be announced”

                        Guest speaker:  to be announced

2:30 pm – 5:00pm    Additional time allowed for contacting Legislators.
