I am writing to support the recommendations of the NOVA advisory committee. I think it is important the agreement reached by most of the user groups be given careful consideration. We who use the recreational lands of the state are dependent on fair distribution of the limited funds available to maintain and manage these lands. I think that the efforts of this broad based committee has resulted in an equitable approach to NOVA funds.
As a member of Backcountry Horsemen of Washington I use and enjoy these properties in conjunction with other users. We all have a vested interest in using, maintaining, and caring for these areas. The committees recommendations go a long way toward establishing a co-operative attitude among all users.
