Dear Exhibitor,

You are invited to be an exhibitor/vendor at the 2003 Rendezvous/Convention of the Backcountry Horsemen of Washington (BCHW).

Enclosed are the vendor/exhibitor application form, a vendor contract, instructions, and a map to the Yakima County Fairground.  The theme for this year’s rendezvous will be “Preserving an Era”.  The event will be held May 16, 17 and 18, 2003 at the Yakima County Fairgrounds in Yakima, WA.  It is the biggest event of the year for nearly three thousand members of  BCHW plus the local Yakima Valley community.  The event will be advertised statewide and will attract horse owners and admirers throughout the state and beyond.  Total planned attendance this year is between 3,000 and 5,000 people.  As an added incentive for you as a vendor, the event will be FREE admission to the public.  We invite you to participate in this exciting BCHW event by registering as an exhibitor.

The Rendezvous/ Convention will feature several nationally recognized personalities.  Josh Lyons will present horse-training programs throughout the weekend, Yakima’s Johnny Clark will also present his horse training techniques which have been presented throughout the United States and in Europe.  Dianne Mortenson, a horse behavior clinician since 1981, will be presenting her effective natural horseman-ship techniques. Elaine Steele will round out the horse training program by presenting her centered riding demonstration. Among the various planned activities will be a buffet dinner Saturday night with dancing and live music, live and silent auction Saturday night, packing demonstrations and competitions, Mountain Man demonstrations, BLM wild horse and burro auction with demonstrations, Cowboy Church on Sunday morning and breakfasts Saturday and Sunday and much, much more.
